WHAT TO EXPECT WITH INSPECTIONS

WE WILL

  • Document your tank location, manholes and inspection ports

  • Establish condition of manholes and risers to access the tank

  • Establish tank material and size

  • Determine sludge levels, scum thickness and liquid level in the tank (this determines whether or not a pump is required)

  • Scope and record the inlet and outlet lines

  • Look for signs of tank leakage, such as low water levels in the tank

  • Look for signs of backup, such as staining in the tank above the outlet pipe

  • Determine the integrity of the tank, inlet, and outlet baffles

  • Inspect the drain field for signs of system failure like standing water

  • Check to make sure systems with pump or siphon are working

  • Ensure the system complies with local regulations regarding function and location.

  • Document any items that may be out of the ordinary or should be monitored with routine service.

Our Report Includes

1. Inspection findings of the tank, lids, and all internal components.

2. Scope video of both the inlet line (house to the tank) and outlet line (tank to the field if accessible)

3. Visual inspection of the field and inspection through the inspection ports in the field (if available)

4. System test for all functions.

5. Measure contents to determine if pumping is recommended.

We will combine the information gathered into a complete report including links to the scope videos, any recommendations, and estimates for possible repairs.
